NASC 3D Interactive TG20:08 Software Guide

Try your scaffolds out yourself against the new guidance in 3D! The NASC have launched a new 3D interactive software guide which enables you to compare your own scaffolds to the guidance in a simple and easy interactive 3D format.

Designed as an easy-to-use graphical learning environment, the software guide enables you to verify for yourself whether a proposed scaffold structure will comply with TG20:08 as a 'Basic Scaffold'. The guide was developed with CADS and is based on the popular SMART Scaffolder software, in particular the model IT and check IT modules for TG20:08.

The NASC 3D interactive software guide describes each TG20 topic with text, videos and graphics and leads the user step-by-step through the process. The interactive element of the software guide provides a 3D environment where you can edit, adapt and customise standard scaffolds. After editing your scaffold in the 3D environment you can check to see whether your scaffold 'Passes' or 'Fails' the criteria for a 'Basic Scaffold', and if it doesn't meet the criteria of a 'Basic Scaffold' it identifies the particular parts of the scaffold that do not comply.
