C.A.S.E. was originally developed by Gary Day Associates following Gary Day’s long and successful career with SGB, Mills Scaffolding (later part of Interserve) and UBM Scaffolding. He also provided more than 150 estimating training courses and worked as a business and technical consultant. Regrettably Gary Day Associates’ Director and Lead developer James Day (Gary’s son) was unable to continue development or to maintain the company’s software due to illness.

On the 8th of February 2011 CADS signed an agreement to acquire ownership of C.A.S.E. resulting in a complete technical handover of the Support and development of the software.

C.A.S.E. enables users to efficiently generate a quotation to the customer with little or no typing. The software is quick to use and extremely versatile. It is well known for producing great looking quotations which can be configured to match company identity and create great looking company letterheads. These offer a professional finish to your quotations and can really help your company stand out from the crowd!

C.A.S.E. provides users with accurate and consistent pricing across all types of works and projects. It reflects the way way you wish to work, for instance labour is assessed the way you want to price.

You can be confident that the materials calculated and the drawings produced in C.A.S.E. reflect the scaffold to be built.

Drawings to accompany your quotation can be produced of estimated scaffold items. Drawings are produced in plan and elevation.

C.A.S.E. will also automatically create a compreheisve and accurate loading list of the required materials.

C.A.S.E. can produce management reports to review pricing breakdowns and aid in price negotiations. All reflect the current job status and most recent quotation, providing an excellent overview for senior management and owners.

C.A.S.E. also enhances site paperwork through its ability to produce job sheets to give to site operatives. These Job Sheets contain dimensions, maximum loads, drawings and material lists for easy reference whilst on site or in the yard.

CADS has been developing software for the construction industry for over 40 years. During that time our expertise has grown and we are proud of our links with key industry groups such as the NASC. We have a comprehensive support programme, covering upgrades, fixes, new releases and maintenance. The CADScover programme provides peace of mind and the latest software versions for a small annual fee.

When CADS acquired the already well established C.A.S.E. software we immediately sought to establish contact with all existing customers to better understand their requirements and future plans. We also set-up a dedicated Support area for C.A.S.E. customers and began to look at future development. Our Support team are there to help and in particular our C.A.S.E. specialist support team member Richard Pearce will be happy to answer any queries that you may have.
