Why should I buy from CADS?

What support is offered by CADS?

SMART Scaffolder is supported by a combination of training, support and a maintenance contract. This ensures that you can fully exploit all that the Scaffolder has to offer your business. Support for Scaffolder is provided by the CADS central helpdesk via email, fax and telephone. FREE Upgrades are provided under CADScover, our software maintenance and support contract. CADS is committed to a continuous development path and has a dedicated team of developers for Scaffolder. This means your requirements today can make it very quickly into future version releases, alongside other great new features. Since Scaffolder's release in 2007 CADS has released several enhancements refelecting customer requirements.

What hardware and software do I need?

SMART Scaffolder is a Microsoft Windows compatible program, available in both single user and networking versions

• Microsoft Vista Home, Business, Enterprise or Ultimate editions
• Microsoft Windows XP Home or Professional editions with Service Pack 2

Do I also need an AutoCAD type software product?

Unlike some competitor products, SMART Scaffolder does not require an AutoCAD type product to produce professional plan and elevation drawings. Everything you need is built into the SMART Scaffolder estimate IT software.

However, if you already work with AutoCAD or are designing more complex scaffolds then we also have an AutoCAD based drawing module called draw IT. This helps designers customise AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT for their specific scaffolding design requirements.

Can I use my existing letterhead?

SMART Scaffolder allows you to print directly onto your company headed paper, but if you do not have pre-printed headed paper you can print your own directly from the software. This option also allows you to include your standard header and footer when you email an Adobe PDF quotation directly from SMART Scaffolder. You can include a header and footer in any of the printed outputs, including the quotation, load list, and drawings. You can even add a watermark image or text and change font colours and styles. Don't forget that as a customer you can also use the 'Powered by SMART Scaffolder' logo on your stationary, to illustrate to your customers that you use the very best software.
